Tonight, tonight, there's a party on the roof top, top of the world

Standing on the roof of Beit Shmuel, the headquarters for Reform Judaism worldwide.
Looking down across the street at the house Simon Peres is living in at the moment.
Gazing across at the Old City, being struck by the beauty and sheer fortune that let me be here, in this place, able to look at and be in the Old City.
Glancing over at Jerusalem, seeing sites like Mamilla and the King David Citadel and Jaffa Gate and new sky-scrapers.
Turning upwards and there's snow, real snow, falling from the sky onto Jerusalem.
Watching the African kid's face (and yea, the LA girl's face too) when they see real snow for the first time.

Standing on top of the world, in Jerusalem, eating Hungarian Awesome Bread with some of the best people I've ever met in the snow.

Wow.
